QUINCE COMPOTE

INGREDIENTS

- 500 gr quince

- 2 cups filtered water 

- 1 stick cinnamon 

- 5 whole cloves

- 1 cup cane sugar

PREPARATION

First, cut the ends of 500 gr  quince. Then cut in thick slices and in halves. Place in a pot, add 2 cups  filtered water, 5 cloves, 1 thick stick cinnamon and cook covered for 15 minutes on high heat. Then, using a large spoon, mix it  and add 1 cup  cane sugar, mix again .  Turn down the heat as low as possible and cook for 15 more minutes (it should be bubbling and with syrup) . After this, mix and serve ! !

TIPS

  • At the end remove the cloves and cinnamon before serving.
