TIRAMISÚ

INGREDIENTS

- 200 grs large Lady Fingers (Biscottis) 

- ½ cup espresso 

- 425 grs mascarpone cheese

- 3 tablespoons raw honey 

- 1 teaspoon vanilla 

- 50 grs Organic cacao powder

- 50 grs Dark Chocolate bar (70% cacao) 

PREPARATION

First, place the Biscottis in a rectangular serving dish with a high edge, covering all the bottom of the dish, leaving no empty spaces, cutting the biscottis as needed to fit completely. Next,  prepare 1/2 cup espresso in a french or mocha coffee pot. Now, add 425 grs of mascarpone cheese to a bowl, beat until creamy and fluffy using a globe beater. Then, add 3 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and continue beating for 1-2 more minutes. 

Immediately pour the hot espresso over the biscottis in the dish, then cover it with  the mascarpone mixture, sprinkle organic cacao all over , completely covering it. Finally, shave the chocolate using a small sharp knife or a vegetable peeler and sprinkle all over the Tiramisu. And:  it’s ready! You can serve and enjoy it with a glass of champagne or a sweet wine.

TIPS

- You can prepare this the day before and keep it refrigerated until ready to serve. 

- Preferably to put in the refrigerator for at least 30’ before serving.

- For a lactose free version use a lactose free Mascarpone available in stores .

- For gluten free version use gluten free Biscottis.

- Dish measures we used for this recipe 10.5 x 8.0 x 2.5 inches (adapt as needed)
