CHIRIMOYA ALEGRE
INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg chirimoya
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 tablespoons orange liqueur (Grand Marnier or Cointreau)
- Fresh Mint sprigs (washed and dry)
PREPARATION
First, cut the chirimoya in thick slices (1 in). Then peel each slice. Next, remove the seeds carefully using the tip of a knife. Now, when all the discs of chirimoya are ready, place them flat side by side on a large platter. Pour the orange juice over the slices, then pour 2 tablespoons of orange liqueur and decorate with some mint sprigs.

TIPS
-It’s important to consume it immediately as chirimoya tends to get dark quickly.
- For a virgin option, skip the orange liquor.
