FESTIVE SALAD

INGREDIENTS

- ½ kg green beans

- 2 tablespoon of olive oil

- 1 ½ tablespoon balsamic vinegar

- ½ teaspoon marjoram

- ½ lime juice

- ½ kg red seedless grapes

- ½ teaspoon salt

- ¼ cup sliced almonds

- Dash of fresh pepper

IMPLEMENTS

- Hand mixer or 2 forks.

PREPARATION

First, we will wash ½ kg of green beans, remove both ends. Then, cut them in 3 parts of approximately 1 ½ inches each.

Next,in a pot, boil 2 liters of water with ½ tablespoon salt, add the green beans and cook for 6 minutes. After this time, drain and dump them in very cold water, ice cold water for 5 minutes, (this will help keep the brilliant color of our green beans). Drain and leave aside while preparing the dressing.

For the  dressing: In a bowl add 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 ½ tablespoons  balsamic vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, dash ground black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of marjoram, 1/2 lime in juice.

Finally, put the green beans in a nice bowl, add ½ kg of red grapes without seeds, ¼ cup of sliced almonds and mix all together.

TIPS
