POTATO PIZZA DISH

INGREDIENTS

- 25 gr unsalted butter 

- 6 ½ large potatoes 

- 125 gr cheese (mozzarella and gouda mixture)

- 2 ½ large tomatoes

- 2 eggs

- ½ cup of milk 

- 6 tablespoons parmesan

- Dash of salt

- Dash of pepper

- Dash of oregano

- Dash of garlic powder

PREP TIME: 15 min

COOKING TIME: 30 min

PREPARATION

First, use a little butter to grease an ovenproof dish. Next slice 6 ½ potatoes previously cooked and peeled, cut 125 gr of cheese and 25 gr of unsalted butter in little pieces to melt, cut 2 ½ tomatoes in slices. When all the ingredients are ready, start to lay the slices in the ovenproof dish, first  the potatoes, then tomatoes, cheese, butter, a dash of salt, pepper and oregano, in that order. Repeat this process until you finish all the ingredients, like 3 layers. In the last layer add a dash of garlic. 

On the other hand, in a bowl beat 2 eggs with ½ cup of milk and pour slowly into the mixture.

Finally, preheat the oven for 15 minutes and bake at 350°F for 30 min. Remove from the oven and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of parmesan for decoration and it's ready!

TIPS

  • Use special gloves to remove the dish from the oven

  • It is better to use cheese that will melt easily like gouda, mozzarella and edam.
